Ready to Begin (Christian, Adult Contemporary)

 “Ready to Begin” is about an elderly woman approaching the end of her challenging life who singlehandedly raised her children with strength, love, and devotion, many times at the expense of her own wellbeing. During her child raising, she went through repeated heartbreaks including the loss of several children. God took notice of her sacrifices and faith and started to prepare her next journey into the afterlife .

 

What inspired this track was through the firsthand account by the woman’s only remining living child, myself. “Ready to Begin” is a faith-based message of living a righteous life, no matter the obstacles. The mood is reflective, emotive, and inspiring.
