Renal Denervation surgery fundraising

 

Many of you do not know, but our dear Torrey Turner has been fighting congestive heart failure (CHF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). Both conditions are hereditary in nature. Several medications and combinations of medications have not been effective in treating the underlying causes of his ailments.

According to his doctors, the last treatment (before resorting to dialysis or organ transplant) is to undergo Renal Denervation. This procedure aims to alleviate the strain on his vital organs by removing the nerve responsible for raising his blood pressure. This could be the turning point in the fight to improve his overall quality of life and return to work.

Torrey has been unable to work for periods at a time during hospital stays. Financial resources are running critically low and funds are needed to undergo the procedure.

We are asking for your support by donating any amount towards medical expenses, medications, rehabilitation, outpatient care, and daily living expenses.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will bring Torrey closer to a healthier future, returning to his career and continue to be an extraordinary father.

Hello everyone,
We are overjoyed with the overwhelming show of support for Torrey! We are excited to see us reach our fundraising goal. These initial funds will be used immediately for medication, doctor visits and living expenses.

Although still unable to work and relatively shut-in, Torrey is in good spirits. His blood pressure remains critically high despite the handful of medication prescribed. He spent another 6 days in the hospital at the beginning of May due to blood pressure related issues.

This fundraiser is vital to be able to maintain and await to be scheduled for the Renal Denervation surgery.
